Academic Work

I began my career studying History at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, but have since specialised in Linguistics. My current research interests are in critical discourse analysis and pedagogies of critical thinking, with my most recent project looking at discourses of education policy and work skills in Japan.

See here for my profile on Academia.edu, where you can find pdfs of my major publications.

On this page, you can find a list of my most recent publications. My work is published under the cunning pseudonym of David Rear. Don’t tell anyone.
